Does your research team use AI in your work? We're running a study on how r=
esearch teams find literature, work through ideas, and make sense of data t=
ogether with GenAI tools. We want to understand where GenAI fits into this =
shared process and how it affects collaborative sensemaking. We'd love to h=
ear your experiences, needs, and challenges.
We're looking for teams already working together on real research projects.
* 2=963 members of your team will join one online group interview (60=9690 =
mins)
* Audio only (no video), recorded via Zoom, then transcribed and de-identif=
ied
* Talk through how your team searches literature, works through ideas, and =
makes sense of data and evidence in collaboration with GenAI tools
* Each participant receives an Amazon gift card upon completion: $40 for a =
60-minute interview, or $50 for a 90-minute interview.
This is open to research teams:
* Whose members include faculty, postdocs, doctoral researchers, or researc=
h staff/scientists (e.g., lab groups, faculty=96student teams, or project c=
ollaborators)
* Who've worked together on a shared scholarly project in the past 12 month=
s * Where at least one member regularly uses GenAI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Cl=
aude, Gemini, Copilot, Perplexity, Elicit, or Consensus) somewhere in their=
research process
* Participants must be 18+ and able to interview in English
