Re: Representing live content in wireframes

I'm with John Maeda on this one...

After a certain point, it just becomes easier to learn
the interface programming language, and prototype
something with simulated behaviour. I've found that,
as a designer, learning javascript and actionscript
have made it much easier to prototype and to
effectively communicate with developers and
programmers. 

Plus, you get a nifty demo you can show off, way
before you have a usable product. Really helps if you
need to explain what your building to someone who
deals with budgets. 

The O'Reilly book on javascript is a great place to
start. Fear not, it hold your hand well enough if you
take the time.
