Thanks Greg! And yes, Pink Floyd is implicated... http://flickr.com/photos/morville/3230775675/in/set-72157612907604234/ I spent a few thousand hours listening to The Wall in high school :-) Peter Morville President, Semantic Studios http://semanticstudios.com/ http://findability.org/ -----Original Message----- From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of java_etc Sent: Thursday, January 29, 2009 12:16 AM To: [email protected] Subject: [AIGAExperienceDesign] Re: User Experience Deliverables Great job, Peter! This is a great collection. I especially love all the exceptional references (Tufte, Made to Stick, etc.) in each deliverable. I think it's about time we looked not just at what we do for our small part, but at what the whole process is trying to produce: i.e. a product that is usable, desirable and will bring a lot of value to our Experience Partner. The icons look like they are straight out of the "Back of the Napkin", and as a fan of using comics for design, I love the simplicity of conveying the idea (like "out of the frying pan and into the fire", for example) with the smallest number of simple lines. I am also reminded why I am so excited about Kevin Chang's upcoming book "See What I Mean" about designing and communicating concepts with comics. Great article overall. P.S. I am going to venture a wild guess: one of you is a Pink Floyd fan ("Tear down the wall! Tear down the wall!") Cheers to that!
