How are you going about adding clients exactly?

For the client stuff to work you need to have:

* Horde
* Turba
* Whups (configured with a Turba addressbook as the 'client' driver)
* Hermes

You enter your client contacts inside a Turba addressbook then you configure
Whups to tell it which Turba addressbook contains clients.

Next you have to set up a Whups module (in Whups admin). When you set up this
module you will be able to attach a client to the module.

Hermes uses the modules and clients from Whups so it should start displaying
clients at that point.
