That might sooner or later be a problem with things like Python, 
wxPython and all kind of other libraries you want to us.  I would not be

You could still use the other functions of Boa (even just using 0.4.4, 
as a lot of my shareware app was developed using that version of Boa), 
you don't have to use the designer.

- call tips
- debugger

Then are many other editors out there which are also very good - just 
check out the wxPython wiki.
