Category: Interface (example) Group: v1.0 (example) Status: Open Resolution: None Priority: 5 Private: No Submitted By: rdmty (rdmty) Assigned to: Edward Mann (emann) Summary: Mouse, Backspace, Arrow keys stop working Initial Comment: It seems to be random when this happens, but the mouse will all of a sudden stop working. When I try to edit with my mouse, the cursor will stay as the text cursor even if you hover over a menu. Clicking doesn't work, except when trying to select/edit text. However, right clicking does work, and will change the cursor to the regular mouse pointer, while the right-click menu is up, I can click any of the menu bar items, but after focus is lost from the menu items, it will go back to the mouse cursor again. This mouse-cursor-stuck action also occurs in the preferences window and about window, where I need to use tab in order to close the windows. Also, my backspace doesn't backspace, but delete will delete "forwards" correctly. My arrow keys also do not work, I can't navigate the file with them. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- >Comment By: Edward Mann (emann) Date: 2007-05-10 16:53 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=430467 Originator: NO Thanks for the update, if the original reporter does not post anything i will close this bug. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Vorratt (vorratt) Date: 2007-05-08 16:45 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=1599763 Originator: NO Er, sorry, I didn't submit this bug, I just had the exact same problem and didn't read the email I got very closely. Close enough. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Vorratt (vorratt) Date: 2007-05-08 16:44 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=1599763 Originator: NO Actually, it turns out this wasn't a PHP Eclipse bug at all. This, along with some other Java problems, was actually due to a hardware problem - specifically, the middle mouse button on my mouse would periodically stick itself down. Only Java seemed to care about this, and most of what I did with Java was in PHP Eclipse, so I figured it was PHP Eclipse's fault. When I fixed it, I forgot that I had submitted this bug report, and never reported the fix. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Edward Mann (emann) Date: 2007-05-08 14:22 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=430467 Originator: NO Can you post info about your setup? ---------------------------------------------------------------------- You can respond by visiting: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=484801&aid=1499657&group_id=57621 ------------------------------------------------------------------------- This SF.net email is sponsored by DB2 Express Download DB2 Express C - the FREE version of DB2 express and take control of your XML.
