First off this problem started showing up after
upgrading to Eclipse 3.2.

Version: 3.2.0 
Build id: M20060628-1325
OS X 10.4.7.

I'm not sure if this is a PHPEclipse bug or something
else with Eclipse in general.  Maybe someone else has
seen this problem?

If I am in a php file inside of a HTML block and start
a HTML comment such as typing this exact text: "<!-- s",

This happens if I am in a PHP file editing.  Say my
source looks like this:

<?php
// some code
?>

<table>
<tr>
   <td>&nbsp;</td>
</tr>
</table>


If anywhere in the HTML part of the file I start an
HTML comment, I get as far as "<!".  At this point
somehow the editor turns my words in reverse.  So if I
were to try to type "<!-- start -->" I would end up
with "<!-trats -".  Has anyone else seen this behavior?
 Is this the fault of WST?  I figure if I am in a .php
file then only the PHP editor should be active, correct?

Let me know if there is any other information I can
provide to help solve this problem.

Can you try this with 1.1.9CVS or the next release which should be out
soon. Cannot get this to error with current cvs

Yes I still experience this issue.  One note I might add is that the
result is not consistant.  It just sometimes happens and the only way to
stop it is to not save the file I am editing, close it, and reopen.

Can someone with a Mac comment on this? If i don't hear anything back i
will close this issue.

Eric do you have this issue with 1.1.8? or with cvs 1.1.9?
