Hi,
the old update site still appears to work. The URLs in
http://phpeclipse.sourceforge.net/update/releases/site.xml are still there.
Nelson, you need to put "http://phpeclipse.sourceforge.net/update/releases/"
(without the quotes) as a new update site into the dialog which appears when
you select the menu item
Help -> Software Updates -> Find and install...
-> Search for new features to install
Click [New Remote Site...]. Select an appropriate name, such as "PHPEclipse
1.1.8 Updates" and type that into the "Name:" field. As URL enter "
http://phpeclipse.sourceforge.net/update/releases/". After that, you find
"PHPEclipse 1.1.8 Updates" as a new entry in the list of available update
sites. For simplicity's sake, make sure that this is the only selected
item.
Now click [Finish] and Eclipse starts searching for new features. Unless you
encounter network problems it will eventually find this:
PHPEclipse
PHPEclipse releases
PHPEclipse 1.1.8
Now you can select and install PHPEclipse 1.1.8.
Hope that helps
Mike
