the system info:

Red Hat Enterprise Linux ES release
4 (Nahant Update 4)

ARCH=x86_64

OSREL=2.6.9-42.elsmp

Since Firefox 3 runs fine, it seems
that I should be able to get Komodo 5 to run as well.

Hi Tom,

Komodo 5 (and Firefox 3) both use the Mozilla 1.9 code base and as such

require newer software libraries than their previous versions.

Which linux distribution and architecture are you trying to install

Komodo upon?
