In Komodo IDE's "Source Code Control | Perforce" prefs panel there is such an option already. I believe that is there for Perforce because "p4 diff" has an easy way to pass of to an external diff program. > I would like to use 'meld' on Ubuntu. Ah, I was going to say use the "Diff options", but the separate output window launch is lame. Could you log a bug for that please? > Some kind of integrated feature where you could choose an external > diff tool and Komodo would not only change its own compare files tool > to use this feature, but automatically figure out the options needed > to use that tool on any VCS would be super-awesome. Agreed, a more generic single place to set that would be most useful. That would be a default that each of the separate diff'ing features in Komodo would use -- possibly able to override if that makes sense.
