We're hoping if helps reduce a lot of confusion we've seen: "You can have multiple Komodo Windows?", "How do I open the Start Page?", "The Code menu is waay too big to be useful", "Project stuff is in multiple menus == confusing". Etc. Just unfortunate we didn't have time to get to it sooner. And there are always nightly builds and patch-level releases if we seriously mucked up some use cases. :) > So here goes: I really miss being able to go Alt+W and have it take me > right to the list of open tabs. There's no way to hardwire that on Windows a single "Alt+<letter>" to go to a *sub*-menu. The Alt+<letter> handling is std Windows menu keyboard navigation. I wonder if this would work: - move the Next Tab, Previous Tab, Go To Tab stuff to the bottom of the Navigation menu (in a change just after the RC1 build we moved these three together) - bring the list of tabs (or at least the first 10 or so) to the top-level I think we'd have to limit the number shown and show a "More >" submenu for all the others, else having 50 open tabs would make the Navigation menu unuseable. Or maybe not. We didn't do that for the "Window" menu in K5, so why bother here. Thoughts?
