CVS Integration issue

Issue: I keep seeing references to previous setting of CVS_ROOT environment
variable being used for CVS integration. 

 

Question: Does Komodo store settings CVS integration settings in Windows
Registry or the file-system?

 

Background: 

I use Komodo in Virtual PC.  I had successfully configured CVS integration
[CVSROOT, PLINK_PROTOCOL and CVS_RSH environment variables].

 

PLINK_PROTOCOL=ssh

CVSROOT=:ext:hzlnt7@localhost:/var/lib/cvsroot

CVS_RSH=plink

 

At work, VPN access was recently changed, so the Virtual PC no longer has
connectivity away from the office.  I am able to setup SSH tunneling to the
host PC to access corporate network where the CVS repository resides.

 

The previous setting for the CVSROOT environment variable was
:ext:[email protected]:/var/lib/cvsroot.  The SSH tunnel
is setup using plink.exe -- the following command:

plink -agent -N -L 22:w2hzlnt703.miabh.us.eds.com:22
[email protected]

.gateway.2wire.net> 

 

pbrzezinsk1.gateway.2wire.net is the host PC.  I am able to connect to the
server w2hzlnt703 that hosts the CVS repository via plink hzlnt7@w2hzlnt703
<https://www.networksolutionsemail.com/edgedesk/cgi-bin/compose.exe?id=00436
b41e15d84e41d1e13782f067ba18633&new=&xsl=compose.xsl&to=hzlnt7@w2hzlnt703>
from the Virtual PC.

 

I am able to execute cvs -d %CVSROOT% status commands successfully from
command line.

 

To see what's going on, I look at the taskmgr and see references to the
following command [and args]: plink w2hzlnt703.miabh.us.blah.com -l "hzlnt7"
cvs server

 

Where is Komodo getting this information?  I stopped and restarted Komodo,
checking the Windows environment variables -- and rebooted.  It still uses
the old settings.  

 

Assistance appreciated.
