Hello,
Sorry I'm slow to respond back, working very long hours these days.
OK, will do a better job of describing my situation. When logged in as=20
myself my preference file has been working properly excepting not being=20
able to save my Windows 7 file associations. To accomplish this I must=20
log-out and then log back on using elevated (Administrator) privileges,=20
then I can save my file association selections. At this point I would=20
log-out again and then logon as myself (without elevated Administrator)=20
privileges. All other configuration options have been savable including=20
file paths and other preferences up to and including KomodoIDE-7.0.

As of Komodo-7.1 my preference file can't find my python file paths.=20
When I insert these paths manually and attempt to save them (no errors=20
are being reported) Komodo-7.1 is not remembering these locations.=20
Again, I'm only talking about being logged on as myself and not with=20
elevated Administrative privileges.

In addition, if I click on Komodo's start page (quick Links section)=20
"Check Configuration" link it will just sit there and grind away trying=20
create a report but never does. I have not seen this behavior on any=20
other Komodo IDE release and I've been using Komodo for years now. I=20
have not submitted a bug report on this as I was waiting see if other=20
folks observed these problems.

What do you think?
