You mentioned a few times that you were logging out of your normal user account and logging in as Administrator. That's not the same thing at all as running Komodo (or any app) with elevated privileges under your own account. So it's been a bit of a confusing discussion. Just to be clear... Logging out and logging in as Administrator would be when you log out of Windows completely, get back to the Welcome screen, and then log in under a different account. Running Komodo with elevated privileges would not involve logging out at all. You would simply close Komodo if it's already running, then find it in the Start menu, right click it, and select "Run as administrator". You don't have to close any other apps, or log out, or log back in. So, which is it that you're really doing? It now sounds like the latter.
