TITLE:
Social Information: Community and Cultural Information Design

At the IIID Summer Academy 2004 we will analyse and plan visions
for public information, for instance to promote a cultural event
or to inform the public on safety issues. The Summer Academy will
start as web based studies in a virtual classroom on the Internet.
It continues for ten days on location at Maelardalen University
in the city of Eskilstuna, Sweden, with seminars, case studies and
workshops. After the visit to Eskilstuna the participants
will - again via the Internet - summarise and present the
results in a report.

DATES:
August  2 - 15: distance studies on the Internet
August 16 - 27: on location at Maelardalen University, Eskilstuna, Sweden
August 28 - September 10: presentation of results on the Internet
