Just found this reference to Microsoft's upcoming "Longhorn" OS on Scott
Johnson's fuzzyblog (http://radio.weblogs.com/0103807/):

I'm betting that the search-and-retrieval model will strongly resemble
faceted classification with support for combining search terms from several
facets with natural-language syntax.
