Dear bpallen777,

We haven't yet done any experimental evaluation.
Currently, we try to define a methodology for the expression
formulation process.
However, the nice things are the following
(a) the parameters P and N can be defined incrementally,
(b) the algebra is monotone (wrt to the size of the expression),
and
(c) the mathematical properties of the operations (which are not
described thoroughly in the paper), allow rewriting an expression to
an equivalent one. This means, that we could easily build an
optimizator which will take as input an expression e and will produce
an equivalent expression e that has the minimum number of parameters.
The designer could use such an optimizator several times during the
design process.

Ciao,
Yannis
