I agree. I know Travis has also build some extensions to the classic
faceted model in his http://facetmap.com. I think the best thing to do
is to have XFML Core (the current spec), for the basic exchange of
faceted metadata, and extensions. 

I'd like to add your extension to the xfml.org site. I think it should
be called maybe XFML+something. What do you think?

The format would have to be defined a bit further. You can join
http://groups.yahoo.com/group/xfml/ if you want to discuss it, there are
a lot of clever technical people on that list who can help you. I
understand the format of the extension is evolving with your research,
so maybe give the extension a number < 1.
