Help! 

I'm starting a commercial newsletter devoted to practical 
applications of advanced knowledge organization and retrieval 
technology in businesses, not-for-profit organizations, and 
government agencies. I need your knowledge and expertise.

I need contributors -- both regular and occasional, from a variety 
of domains -- to make this venture the great success I believe it 
can be.

The critical role of knowledge organization in almost every aspect 
of our knowledge-based work activities is the best-kept business 
secret of the 21st century. 

My goal is to produce an authoritative, top-quality, industry-
leading publication that will become the *first* resource of 
corporate knowledge-management personnel, vendors of knowledge-
organization technologies, and implementers.

* A publication that provides news, serves up coherent perspective, 
and reduces the confusion now reigning in the application of 
advanced knowledge organization technology and practices.

* A publication whose arrival is eagerly anticipated by subscribers.

* A publication supported by a shared knowledgebase that embodies 
many of the principles it describes.

Tell me about yourself and your interests. I'll send you a detailed 
description of my plans. 

I'd also like to know from members of this list: What resources 
(print and online) do you turn to *now* for information about 
developments in knowledge organization and retrieval? I think that 
information would be of significant interest to *all* members of 
this list.
