The Scorpion project, a part of the CORC initiative by OCLC
<http://orc.rsch.oclc.org:6109>, includes a software which 
automatically generate Dewey Decimal Classification numbers 
classifying digital documents on the basis of their word 
distribution, then submit the numbers to a human indexer,
who can edit and improve them. DDC is mostly not faceted,
however.
