Re: Introductions

I'm not a "new" member, but I'll introduce myself. I'm head of the 
Wordsmyth dictionary project (http://www.wordsmyth.net) and I'm 
looking for ways to represent a "thesaurus" of semantic relations 
such as the "Word Explorer" in the Wordsmyth Children's Dictionary. 
Check an entry such as "airplane" in the children's dictionary to see 
a sample. I can imagine how this would be represented as topics and 
associations in a topic map. But I'm having trouble figuring out 
which relations would be facets. Does a faceted analysis require 
"fundamental" facets that apply to all entries?
