Peircers,

Perhaps the time has come round once again to consider a possible
technical solution to the problems of "political economy" recently
raised on the List.

Myself having experienced, over the last dozen years, many other online
discussion forums grow in size and diversity to the point where the same
forces of social dynamics threaten to overwhelm their original purposes,
perhaps I may suggest once again the possibility of looking into other
styles of forum software that I have found can help with the issues.

I think I can probably still get in touch with some friendly people
who have a lot of experience working with the bulletin board systems
I have known to work fairly well.
