Maybe, but all language is equivocal until univocally interpreted.  That is what pragmaticians have 
their categories, semiotics, and pragmatic maxim for, and so they would view it as job security if 
it were not the catch of the job interview to persuade the interviewer that the job needs doing.

At any rate, the situation is no worse in the field of graph theory than any other field where 
diverse groups of people find themselves needing to understand one another about common objects.

Speaking of which ... I see you using words that are familiar to me, but you are stringing them 
together in ways that make no sense to me.  It is always conceivable that these strings make sense 
in some language or school of thought or other, but that is not the language I learned or the school 
I attended.

So the only way I can see to address your questions is to continue with the canon of primitives, 
definitions, axioms, and theorems that I learned, until we can see where the difficulty lies and 
what will put it to rest.
