Hi All, I'm Naoyuki Ishimura who joined this project from a few month ago. (actually it's rejoining, I had been working for iiimjcf at 7 or 8 years ago) We Sun are planning to change current gnome-im-switcher structure and UI for integrating r12 to Solaris. The main two purposes of this change are - gather all of iiim related properties setting to one setting dialog. (currently "Input Method Preference", "Gimlet Preference", "Add or Remove Languages" and "IIIM Hotkey Configuration Window" are used for setting user's preference, but this situation is not so ideal, because it's hard to find what kind of properties user can set and also hard to find the right place to set it. - prevent inconsistent 'Input Language List' to show up among different client types (currently too long language list is shown with iiimxcf, and gimlet menu and SWITCH LANG popup are different, etc) We are not finished these implementation yet, but will start to putback these changes step by step from next week. # All of modification to current souce code except bug fix will be enclosed # with "#ifdef HAS_IIIM_PROPERTIES" - iiim-properties will be the name of # properties setting application.), so this change will not affect to current # gimlet behavior if this flag is not set. Regards, Naoyuki
