Clamping code

Kva er "clamping code" på norsk?
Sitat 1: Editing high dynamic range data requires that there isn't any 
clamping code in editing operations and blend modes.

Sitat 2: Many (but not all) GIMP 2.10 blend modes are unclamped, 
including Normal, Addition, Subtract, Multiply, Lighten Only, Darken 
Only, Difference, and the LCH and Luminance blend modes. Blend modes 
such as Screen, Soft Light, and Overlay are not unclamped as these 
operations are designed to work with display-referred data.

Dette er truleg kodar som avgrensar eller pressar saman eitt eller anna 
område. Eg har tidlegare i andre samanhengar omsett "clamp" med «tving», 
men føler at dette ikkje er den beste omsetjinga i dette tilfellet utan 
at eg har betre forslag. Hugsar eg ikkje feil, brukte vi i si tid clamp 
om ei skruetvinge.

Om nødvendig, kan eg sikkert finne fleire eksempel på bruk av 
"clamp(ing)" i originalteksten.
