I'm using it right now. Transfers seem a tad slower than before, though, but still pretty good. Be sure to follow the directions when you install the iPod 2.0 software, though. IOW, don't put the iPod in the dock until prompted to by the installer. The iPod ships formatted HFS+ (Mac). The installer will format your iPod as FAT32 for use in Windows. One "bug" I noticed: I have MacDrive installed. When I was installing the iPod software, I noticed that the installer didn't detect that my iPod was Mac formatted, and thus proceeded to skip the "configure" step that formats the iPod as FAT32. I had to run the iPod updater manually in order to do this. Perhaps this was a coincidence, but the updater froze, requiring me to disconnect the iPod and reboot. I then plugged the iPod back in the Dock and everything was fine. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Pete LePage" <[email protected]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Friday, May 02, 2003 11:36 AM Subject: [ephpod] iPod 2.0 > > Does anyone have any guesses if the new iPod will continue to work with > EphPod?
