I was under the impression that LTP (or LPC?) was not as compatible as LC, so I should stick to using LC. This was from this and other online groups. Is this not true? I'll take a stab at VBR again. My first go-round with VBR (Audiophile::Highest settings) caused my iPod to reboot, seemingly when the bitrates would change. Anyone have a suggestion for bitrate/settings specifically for transferring to the iPod? I want to stay above 160kbps or equivalent, and sound quality really matters more than space savings. However, I'd still like to fit 100+ CDs on the iPod.
