Here is what it says:

when looking at the violation of the iPod, it tells me it can't find the
necessary drivers and a Code 31. ARG!
Yet when i run the iPod updater and the iPod is plugged in, it stalls for
about 90 seconds, then says it cannot mount it, yet when I run it when the iPod
isn't plugged in, it just merely states that it isn't plugged in. So obviously
my computer knows SOMETHING is being plugged in, it's just not working.
So I guess taking it back to the Apple Store and telling them it isn't
working won't help, cause on this end its pretty much my problem and not the iPod's.
I'm just about finished with bothering everyone about this.
