Quick Edit Keys

I'm trying to use the quick edit keys to edit the ID3 tags of multiple songs at once, but when I hit F2-F7 nothing happens. At the top of the column it says (Titlee Sh+Q), (Sh+W) etc, but Sh(ift?)+Q-W don't do anything either.
