<<1). Does the Win2k disk management service "see" your iPod when it is
plugged in? (Right-click on My Computer, select "Manage" and then select
"Disk Management.">>

Just checked, it doesn't see it.

<<2). Are you sure you still have a FAT32 formatted iPod? (Or was yours iPod
a MacPod to begin with?)>>

It's a Windows iPod, it's never touched a Mac.

<<3). Are you sure you don't have any portion of the MMJ software installed
on
your system?>>

Yep, It's been uninstalled.

And yes, I am logged in as Admin. I checked the device log, and it starts out
with:

iPodDeviceW2K::iPodDeviceW2K: ipod service is not installed
iPodDeviceW2K::CheckConnectStatus: start
iPodDeviceW2K::CheckConnectStatus: connected
iPodDeviceW2K::CheckConnectStatus: start
iPodDeviceW2K::CheckConnectStatus: connected
iPodDeviceW2K::MountDrive: start

then it loops this for a bit:

iPodManager::onDeviceChange DBT_DEVNODES_CHANGED
iPodManager::OnNodesChanged()
iPodDeviceW2K::CheckConnectStatus: start
iPodDeviceW2K::CheckConnectStatus: connected

then it finally spits out:

MountProc: WM_DESTROY
iPodDeviceW2K::MountDrive: failed
iPodManager::~iPodManager: worker thread terminated
