Thanks for Ephpod. This is a great program even though writing this mail is made a little difficult by the re-occuring dos boxes resulting from adjusting the volume of nearly 1000 mp3s. Anyway... Can anyone tell me exactly what the "Adjust MP3 Volume" actually does? I can't find any info anywhere. Does it use the 89db Track Gain default of MP3Gain? If not, what does it use? My two tuppence worth.... I think the volume function is crucial. I have a large collection of MP3s and have been ripping and downloading them for ages. All my MP3s play fine via my computer. However, when I load them onto my WiPod I find that many distort. A quick look at them via MP3Gain shows that the volume is quite high. If I reduce it to the 89db recommended by MP3Gain the distortion is gone, but they are not loud enough on my PC (a certain amount of welly is missing). This means that I need to change the volume of the MP3s on my iPod only. ------------------------------------------------------ ephPod Mailing List FAQ and HomePage http://www.ephpod.com mailto:[email protected] to susbcribe mailto:[email protected] to unsusbcribe mailto:[email protected] the mailing-list itself
