Re: 2.0.1 Update?

Hmm, that'll teach me to read the original post too fast.  Yes, if your 3rd
gen iPod is Mac formatted to begin with, don't use the windows updater, do
the 2.0.1 update on a Mac to avoid losing all your settings and songs.
Although personally, if your main computer for synching is a PC, I'd
recommend that you eventually format it Windows style, it will just make
life easier, no need for macopener, you'll be able to use it as a portable
PC drive, with a drive letter in Windows, etc.  Just drag and drop to the
drive, for calendar, contacts, file transfer, viewing of the actual mp3's on
the iPod, etc.
