Hrm I asked this before but never saw an answer from you? (missed it?) 
WHY PHP? :) I mean my linux webserver has php but the windows box which
does all the ipod controlling obviously doesnt. Anyway eh, perhaps just
give us a little URL in this mail? Feel free to self-promote :)

Well, the ipod gives a wrong total file lenght "11:03" for a 6:30 file.
If you accidentally seek past the 6:30 mark it'll skip to the next
track.  A bit annoying
