My mom lost everything (low c: drive space bug?)

Hey folks -- My mom managed to lose everything off her iPod. Note that I didn't see what happened, but I think what happened was she loaded EphPod and got some kind of error like "Can't create iTunesDB" -- she had no space left on her c: drive. Then she quit EphPod and I'm thinking it wrote an empty iTunesDB back to her iPod. We tried the "probe for lost music" and "rebuild db from ipod" but neither worked. When I get a chance I'm going to see if there are any mp3 files left on the iPod -- it is always possible that she just managed to really delete everything and the low disk space problem is not the culprit.
