Setting Song Order for Playlists

Is there a way to set a specific song order in a custom playlist? In the Ephpod application, I was able to reorder songs for a custom playlist, but when I played the playlist on my iPod the order was different. I have a 15 GB, second generation iPod and use Windows/MusicMatch Jukebox. Thanks for your help.
