gtkpod 2.1.0... timeframe?

Hi all. I'm repeating something I already asked for in IRC channel, but 
no reply there.

I received a bug report (http://bugs.debian.org/631293) querying if 
there is any timeframe when the 2.1 branch (using GTK3) would be 
declared stable. We need to know that to define the switch process 
between the experimental distribution and the unstable one in Debian.
