Run Apache as suExec

Hi there,
one of my customer asks me whether it might be possible to run apache as
suexec, i. e. under the user + group id, the domain directory belongs too.
In a post from September 2004 the following addition to
vhosts.conf.template was mentioned as one possible solution.
User <perl>(getpwuid($uidNumber))[0];</perl>
Unfortunately, with the ispman setup I use here this does not work.
After ispman.ldap2apache I always get the entry "User" without the userid.
Does anyone know a solution for this issue? (Running current ispman from
cvs )
