What i suggested was to have both backend running and curl -XGET on the left to curl -XPOST on the right. It would then make it backend independant.
But I don't know if it is doable eg we are definitly loosing user password

To be honnest this do not seem desirable to me...
I'm very fine with the migration tool proposed here.
