The scaling-pulsar-smtp app has always promoted the use of postgresql ( sample configuration,  docker-compose file,  readme )

It also promotes a s3 mailrepository using only the passthrough configuration .

In these conditions, the migration tool introduced in JAMES-4119 allows for a seamless migration from the JPA backend to the PG backend (leaving only table cleanup to the administrator)

 

Given the above I propose to migrate the scaling-pulsar-smtp to use the new Postgres backend.
