 I'm trying to run the smoketester (to validate the 10.5.1 release),
but got stuck initially since I don't have JDK21 any more on any of my
boxes -- it made me wonder: why does this process get locked to a
specific version of Java? I understand we would want to enforce a
minimum version, but wouldn't we want to enable testing with forward
versions as well?
