Hi Apache POI Team,

We are currently working on upgrading java 8 to Java 17 and using the Apach=
e POI version 5.2.1 library. I have referred to the https://poi.apache.org/=
help/faq.html#:~:text=3DPOI%20is%20successfully%20tested%20with,recent%20ve=
rsions%20of%20Apache%20POI, which mentions that recent version of POI have =
been  tested with java 17. However, it is unclear from which specific versi=
on POI started supporting and was tested with Java 17.

Could you please confirm if POI 5.2.1 is compatible with Java 17?
