Milos Kleint updated MEVENIDE-597:
----------------------------------

    Affects Version/s: NB_3.0
        Fix Version/s: NB_3.1

project loading doesn't know about what profiles get activated on build.

What is needed here (and what I wanted to do for a while already) is to add UI to the project customizer that would allow to select profile(s) that shall be active when loading the project in IDE.

I guess it can be workarounded by activating the profile in the profiles.xml (placed next to the pom.xml file) which can explicitly activate the profile. However any build execution performed on the project will then have this profile active, which is not always desirable.

> When a profile is added to the pom, the ide seems to ignore any dependencies that are listed in the pom when doing its syntax/semantic checking. Builds work fine as long as the profile is selected. My guess is ide syntax/semantic checking happens before a profile is tied to a build.
