Torque and support for java.time dates/times

Hi all,

Are there any plans to support java.time dates and times with torque?

Just had a bizarre hallucination session with Google Gemini where it =
swore blind a switch existed to turn it on, but a look in the source =
shows virtually no use of java.time packages at all.

Can anyone confirm?

If not yet supported I can probably make time to make it happen.
