Why is this an advanced servlet class. Shouldn't you look at an advanced JDBC or Thread Course. Create Multiple threads to each db create timers to watch for the response with some flags when you get the responses built you return the data. There are many different ways we have done this including displaying the page with a refresh that checks to see if any additional data has been returned and then it adds it to the response.
