:: One of the beautiful things in OpenSource software is that :: anyone can come up with initiatives... they either catch :: up or don't. Of course ANT has some drawbacks. I also well i don't want to "waste" too much of my time in the java world. but currently that's what is feasible in paying jobs. :: sometimes need simple conditionals which are difficult :: to make in ANT, although possible. Same thing with, :: mentioned by you, imports of reusable components - ANT :: people are working on it, btw. :: :: I can only wish you good luck with your idea. Don't get me :: wrong - I _am_ using BeanShell as a scripting language and I :: love it. I just don't believe the application mentioned by :: you would be any better than what is available already. :: :: I really hope you will prove me wrong ;) i must admit that i'm trying to spread this idea, maybe someone catches it up, and creates the skeleton of the project... :) if i will actually need it for something i can't do with ant (i'll get deeper into AndroMDA) i'll start it myself. but thanks anyway, 101. ------------------------------------------------------- This SF.net email is sponsored by: SF.net Giveback Program.
