Re: BeanShell Status and Direction...

Pat,

I'm a bit confused.  I looked at the jsr-223 page, and it looks like it's trying
to be specific to web applications.  Hopefully this has been re-directed to
general scripting for java?  It sounds like it, by the package name you said
(javax.scripting).  The groovy jsr page seems like it's trying to own the
scripting world in java, though.  (Nooooooo!!!!!)  If general scripting is
where the jsr is headed, can the jsr page be updated so people can stop being
confused?

Also, is the javax.scripting code going to end up being like BSF (the Bean
Scripting Framework that IBM donated to Jakarta)?
