Dear Yemi D. Bedu,
Thank you very much for your prompt reply to my problem. However, for
the constraint of my DB server (Sybase ASE 12.5.x with Java option
support), I need to re-compile the source using JDK 1.2.x. Otherwise,
it can't even 'recognised' some of the 'installed' classes in the
package (I've tried under JDK 1.3 or later, but not work), and this
arises my problem. Some classes, such as bsh.xThis.java, cannot be
compiled in pre-1.3 version. This seems to make me find another way to
'make' the bsh to be able to be compiled under 1.2.
What I want to do is to create a java class that can be able to make use
of the eval() function in the bsh package to evaluate the boolean result
of a string expression, e.g. "a".equals("b") || (1!=2 && ! false) &&
!"x".equals("y")
Please advises
Millions Thanks !!
Steven
