Problem with Dashboard Forced Builds

After installing dashboard to monitor our CruiseControl build process, it works
well, but we are experiencing a few problems, that seem to be related. When
clicking on the "Force Build" button, an error message is received "Error
communicating with build loop on: ". Similarly when one attempts to view the
status of a currently building project, an error message is printed, saying:
"Could not connect to build loop". Has anyone else encountered these problems,
and if so, do you know of any fix or workaround? Thanks.
