I'm running cruisecontrol on a machine which seems to be using port 8000 for another process (I'm not sure, as I'm not the system admin). When I try to run cruisecontrol, I get the "address already in use" error. Specifying a JMX port, say 8888, fixes this problem. Cruisecontrol does run when specifying port 8000 for JMX, however, and allows me to trigger builds. However, after switching to port 8888, I cannot trigger builds. I get the error "Error communicating with build loop on:". I've also not ever received useful build output information or build status updates, even when using port 8000. I also get an error "Failed to reach dashboard instance : http://<buildmachine>:8080/dashboard/buildloop/listener, either the dashboard has not started up or there is a network problem." I suspect all of this is tied together somehow, but I'm not sure.
