Less than symbol?

I'm trying to import a MySQL script using the following:

<exec executable="mysql" dir="${basedir}/my/project">
  <arg line=" -usomeuser -psomepassword mydb < /path/to/some.sql" />
</exec>

Ant, understandbly, complains about the less than symbol.  Changing it to
&lt; doesn't work so what's the trick here?
